Brother Chip is hosting a super cool event on the Third Thursday of each month at the Unity Center of Des Moines (414 31st Street, Des Moines, IA). It’s essentially a listening room style show that harkens back to the scene in New York and other folk meccas around the world in the 50’s and 60’s. Each month, he’ll be joined by another musician. Next month (April), I’ll join him for a bit of foolishness and shenanigans on stage. Maybe I’ll even play a couple of tunes I’ve been working on.
